Morrison Water Services part of the M Group Services Water Division are the leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK. The North Area currently covers Yorkshire Water, United Utilities Water as well as working for clients in adjacent markets. Turnover of the area is circa £140m per annum but is expected to increase to £170m in the coming years.
Reporting to the North Area Director, this is an important leadership role and a critical part of the North Area leadership team, managing commercial performance across this growing area. The Commercial Director will be the North Area Director's commercial conscience and ensure that targeted margin is achieved, cash is collected promptly and risks are appropriately managed. They will work closely with the Area leadership team and the contract teams to identify and realise opportunities to reduce costs and maximise revenue. They will produce financial and commercial reports, work closely with client representatives and be involved in tender assessments.
