The role of the Commercial Controller - Offsite Construction / Modular Buildings will involve:

Commercial Controller position dealing with numerous modular accommodation rental projects
Full responsibility for managing rental contracts from start to finish
Approving subcontractor works orders for payment
Manage application and certification process of projects
Ensure that payments are paid on date and remain within margins
Reconciliation of final accounts to be settled within two months of completion of the project
Liaise with clients and management to update on project status
Working on projects ranging in value from £6,000,000 - £(phone number removed)

The ideal applicant will be a Commercial Controller - Offsite Construction / Modular Buildings with:

Must have Commercial Controller, Junior Quantity Surveyor, or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor experience within the construction industry
Ideally will have experience in the hire / rental market sector
Ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings
Relevant HND qualification/ Quantity surveyor degree or similar advantageous
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
IT literate (Microsoft Office)
