Job Description:
With a commitment to excellence and customer service, we are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team. As an Estimator at Bloom Roofing you will play a crucial role in our project planning and execution processes. You will be responsible for evaluating project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be key to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and understand site conditions and specifications or estimate request.
2. Consult with clients, vendors, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
3. Research and gather accurate information on labor, material, and overhead costs.
4. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and bids for projects.
5. Review and adjust estimates based on project changes and new information.
6. Track and monitor project costs to ensure they align with estimates and budget.
7. Collaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
2. Strong understanding of cost estimation techniques and practices.
3. Proficiency in estimation software and tools (Estimating Edge).
4. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
