Commercial Analyst – Central Europe

Commercial Analyst – Central Europe

Contract Duration: 6-9 months fixed-term contract

Responsible to: Commercial Finance Manager

Department: Finance

Location: JD Group Head Office, Bury, BL9 8RR

Hours: 40 hrs per week

Responsibilities

• Production and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly commercial reporting for the region.
• Assist with the budget and reforecast process for all entities in the Central Europe region.
• Provide financial input into strategic long term planning.
• Collate payroll data across all Central Europe markets and distribute weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly bonus calculations.
• Support in analysis and reporting for Europe and ensure consistency in process across all EU markets.
• Develop and maintain financial models, ensuring data is accurate, complete and maintained regularly for all Central Europe markets.
• Management of timelines and submissions in line with Group Finance deadlines and agreed timelines with stakeholders.
• Active involvement in design, development and maintenance of new reports, identifying trends and issues.
• Support the finance team with other ad-hoc analysis and reporting as and when required.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed

• Essential
• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
• Excel (intermediate)
• IT literate
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Self-motivated, willingness to learn and work with initiative
• Desirable
• Experience working in retail
