We’re looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our team in Kings Hill, Kent on a permanent basis.

As a Commercial Administrator, you will play a key role in providing accurate and timely administrative support to the commercial sales team and our customers. Reporting into the commercial manager, the role is responsible for all daily administrative tasks such as assisting Commercial Managers with their accounts, interacting with customers and customer platforms, ensuring timelines and requirements are met.

The commercial administrator will work in collaboration with the team across all our wholesale accounts, collaborating with internal stakeholders in procurement, finance, and operations and will work to contribute to the team’s ongoing success.

This position will be in the office, working from home Thursdays and working 1 in every 4 weekends.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Sales, account & supply chain administration supporting the management of key wholesale accounts.
  2. Finance administration and support assisting with commercial finance admin including uploading pricing, forecasted pricing versus actual, and managing customer communication on price changes.
  3. Market insight building & maintaining market data reports including monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to support the wider team.
  4. Business Transformation supporting with the implementation and training of the new D365 platform, according to the needs of the individual accounts.

Essential:

  1. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Suite.
  3. Excellent organisation skills.
  4. Strong communication (both written and verbal).
  5. Self-motivated with strong time management skills.

Desirable:

  1. Experience within a commercial administrative position would be beneficial but not essential.
  2. Previous experience within fresh produce or supply chain would be advantageous, but not essential.
