Job Title: Commercial Admin Assistant

Location: Ipswich

Type: Permanent (5 days in the office with hybrid once established)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Salary negotiable for the right candidate)

The Company

Our Client operates as both a Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractor to the UK infrastructure sector working across Aviation, Highways, Marine, Flood Defence, Rail, Bridge repair and replacement.

Coming up to half a century of operation, they have developed a close-knit family culture that provides everybody with support when needed. This allows them to remain at the forefront of UK infrastructure and deliver crucial projects.

The Role

This role will kickstart your career in an exciting and prosperous company within infrastructure. A lucrative sector with high investment across rail, water and highways set for the next few decades, Ganymede is excited to exclusively offer this opportunity.

You will learn the infrastructure sector and the various disciplines while being mentored directly by a Quantity Surveyor, whom you will support in delivering projects. You will play a critical part in the commercial team by dealing with invoices, subcontractor orders, timesheets, pricing documents, and organization of files.

This gives you the chance to develop into an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role and grow your skills, career, and earning potential. Our Client has a fantastic close-knit culture that always offers the next step up with internal promotions.

Alternatively, our Client is open to experienced candidates with relevant experience in the construction/infrastructure industry who can hit the ground running!

Your Experience

You will come from a finance/administration background within a construction or infrastructure field with experience in:

  1. Admin duties and responsibilities
  2. IT Skills (Excel & Word)
  3. Previous relevant experience in the construction/infrastructure sector
