Your new role working as a Commercial Account Handler will be working within the UK’s number one business comparison and switching service. They combine world-class service with smart technology and data. They are looking for an Account Handler/ Sales Insurance Broker to join their growing Insurance team.
In your new role as a Commercial Insurance Sales Broker / Account Handler, you will sit within the fast-paced Insurance sales department and will focus on understanding customers' commercial insurance needs alongside building and maintaining new and existing relationships. Responsibilities will include negotiating policy terms and premiums with insurers and MGAs, converting renewals within retention metrics for existing customers, completing mid-term policy adjustments for customers, and referring those outside of your expertise. Other duties will include resolving and updating allocated queries and complaints, processing cancellations of policies, and settling refunds of return premiums.
What you’ll need to succeed: Your past experience within an Account Handler role will support your success in this role. You will have great sales experience and have been working in a sales environment. You will have knowledge of Lloyd’s, London, and commercial markets as well. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, as well as experience within a customer/client-facing role and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
