Location: Birmingham or Hertfordshire based - 2 days in office
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Lawes is assisting our client in finding an experienced Account Executive to manage a portfolio of approximately £100k and grow their book of business. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating and implementing a business plan to drive growth, playing a key role in the ongoing success of the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan aimed at achieving growth targets
Conduct regular client visits to build strong, lasting relationships
Present risks to the market and identify cover requirements tailored to clients' needs
Liaise effectively with internal brokers and insurer underwriters to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a strong sales focus while demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of commercial broking
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial broking experience, demonstrating a strong track record in the industry
Proven sales ability or a clear indication of potential for sales success
In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products and the associated risk management processes
DAY-TO-DAY
Manage and grow a book of business with a clear goal of expanding the portfolio
Regularly visit clients to maintain relationships and present solutions
Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity and client satisfaction
Prepare and execute business plans to drive growth and meet targets
SKILLS
Strong sales and business development skills with a passion for building long-term client relationships
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in commercial broking and risk assessment, with the ability to identify and solve complex issues
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities
