Job description

Cold Metal Repair Technician

Location: Long Bennington, Lincolnshire

Shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00

Contract: Temp to Perm

We are looking for a Cold Metal Repair Technician to join our client's team in Long Bennington. This role provides the successful candidate with the chance to work for one of the UK's leading automotive companies with a nationwide presence.

This role involves repairing vehicle body panels using cold metal techniques, ensuring a high standard of finish without the need for traditional filler or paint methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out cold metal repairs on vehicle panels to restore vehicle to original shape and finish.
  2. Use specialist tools and techniques to repair damaged panels.
  3. Assess and report on repair requirements.
  4. Work with the paint and bodyshop teams to maintain workflow.
  5. Ensure all repairs are completed safely and within set timeframes.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in dent removal or cold metal repair.
  2. Skilled in using specialist metal shaping and repair tools.
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve a high-quality finish.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Understanding of vehicle repair techniques.
  6. Must have your own tools.
