Assessment of clinical presentation, to develop an individualised formulation and create a bespoke treatment plan that meets the needs of the individual.
You will work with adults, young people, and families, many of whom will have experienced significant trauma with an ongoing impact on daily living.
Sessions are held in our Nottingham clinic, with access to our Derby clinic, and some clients may opt for remote sessions.
You will deliver high quality psychotherapy, ensuring that this meets the needs of the clients and is flexible and responsive.
You will be a key member of a clinical team working together to grow a new and developing business whilst maintaining quality work.
There will be opportunities to deliver supervision and training, as well as engage with external stakeholders.
The Condition Management Company is led by clinicians with over 60 years in combined clinical experience and service design, across Nottingham, Derby, and further afield. Our team have developed, operated, and evaluated large scale services for the NHS and Department of Work and Pensions. We have also been involved in specialist service development, produced training programmes, and provided performance consultation to other clinical services. Now we have taken the opportunity to focus on developing a local, personalised service with clients at the heart of the service.
Our work is made up of a variety of contracts. This will predominantly be providing interventions for people on specialist service contracts such as our Family Psychological Support Service where individuals and families are experiencing significant birth trauma and loss. Work will also include seeing individual private patients for assessment and treatment, Occupational Health input for local organisations including first responders, working with children and young people with psychological presentations in and out of school settings, providing treatment support for people with autistic spectrum disorders and ADHD, and supporting patients on NHS Waiting Lists.

Job Summary
The post holder will be an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. You will deliver evidence-based CBT to meet your client's specific needs and to work towards their goals. This will be within the parameters of either the contract under which they are referred, or the request of the client. You will complete full clinical assessments, produce suitable reports detailing clients' symptoms, the functional impact of their difficulties, and their goals. You will derive formulation-informed and idiosyncratic treatment plans in collaboration with clients and be able to produce high-quality reports to reflect this work. You will engage closely with the internal team and other multi-disciplinary professionals. You will also provide education, teaching, and training in relation to CBT and around mental health challenges to businesses and external agencies. You will also be involved in clinical supervision, on an individual and group basis.
