Coffee Field Service Engineer

They are seeking a passionate and experienced Field Service Engineer. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a range of commercial coffee machines. As the company enters a significant growth phase, this position offers an exciting opportunity to support the development of the Service Department. Position: Field Service Engineer
Area: Bristol and Southwest Area

Job Type: Full-time - Including Weekend cover (Rota - 1 in 4 weeks)
Location: Southwest - Bristol and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install new commercial coffee machines and ensure they are set up correctly.
2. Repair and maintain commercial coffee machines as needed.
3. Conduct boiler inspections.
4. Diagnose and fix issues to minimize future breakdowns and identify potential risks.
5. Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of company products and machines.
6. Accurately log jobs and complete required paperwork using the online system.
7. Request and fit replacement parts when necessary, including processing warranty parts promptly.
8. Provide excellent service aligned with the company's values and brand standards.
9. Suggest ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
10. Respond to customer inquiries politely and professionally.
11. Collaborate with the Service/Technical Manager to support business growth and improvement.
12. Follow all health and safety policies and standards.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Experience working in a field-based commercial coffee Engineer's Role
2. Experience of fixing a wide range of commercial coffee machines - including traditional espresso, coffee brewers, hot water boilers, bean to cup machines, and coffee grinders
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Competent using phones and laptops
5. Genuine passion and interest for coffee and commercial coffee equipment
6. Full UK Driving license
7. PSSR Training preferred
