Job description
We are currently recruiting a skilled coded welder with current certifications to work within the fabrication team for a busy industrial customer in South Tyneside.
The Role:
* Perform high quality welding work on various projects
* Interpret fabrication drawings, weld procedure documentation and weld inspection procedures working closely with inspectors
* Check that the drawing details on the weld procedures and preparations both match and are right for the job
The Person:
* A time served apprenticeship or completion of a recognised training programme
* Current welding certifications and experience in coded welding
* Qualified to one of the following codes -BS EN ISO 9606- BS EN 287- OASME, AWS D1.1A
* FCAW welding process qualification
* Experience in coded welding, Butt and Fillet
* Strong attention to details and quality
* Problem solving, communication and team working skills
