First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a MIG-MAG Welder to join an established and growing company in the Glasgow region. Our client is an esteemed manufacturer, dedicated to heavy industrial products worldwide.

What's on Offer:

1. Straight to permanent position
2. A £19/hr rate
3. 37hr work week plus occasional OT
4. 5 days per week, Monday to Friday

This role will report directly to the Head of Operations and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team in producing high quality work.

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

1. A time served, recognised engineering apprenticeship
2. The ability to read and interpret drawings
3. A minimum of 5 years experience in a workshop environment
4. Demonstrable MIG/MAG welding experience - previously coded to AWS, ASME IX, ISO, DNV or similar.
5. The ability to work under own initiative.

Desirable but not essential experience:

1. Hydraulic experience
2. Working within a factory environment
3. Forklift licence
4. Fitting, Conventional turner, Machining Centre and Milling experience
