Job Title: Coach Builder / Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilder

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000/£55,000 per annum (subject to skills and experience)

Benefits:

1. 29 days holiday including public holidays
2. £2,000 incentive paid after 6 months of service
3. Annual pay review based on performance
4. Substantial overtime and night shift allowances (optional), paid at normal rate

Shifts:

1. Day Shift: Monday to Thursday - 07:00 - 17:00, Friday - 07:00 - 15:00 (45.5-hour weeks)
2. Night Shift: Monday to Friday - 18:00 - 03:00 (47.5-hour weeks)

About the Role: Our client is seeking skilled Coach Builders / Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilders to join their team. You will be working on specialized vehicle builds for a variety of high-profile clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in the creation of customized commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpret and follow schematics for vehicle repairs and conversions
2. Safely and efficiently use hand tools for vehicle modifications
3. Work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminium, and wood, in the build process
4. Remove and reinstall interior and exterior panels, trims, and frameworks
5. Carry out mechanical fitting and general metalworking tasks

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Prior experience with commercial vehicle bodies is advantageous
2. Previous experience in coachbuilding is a plus
3. A background in metalworking or light mechanical fitting is preferred
4. Experience in a vehicle or engineering environment would be beneficial
