Job Description:

Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer, Siemens - Prototrak (Training on Siemens controls provided if needed)
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Leeds
Overtime: Overtime at x1.5.
Shift: Days
40Hrs
7am - 4:30pm with half hour breaks Monday - Thursday, 7-11 on Friday

Salary: £18ph DOE

Based in Leeds, our client executes a wide range of complex assemblies alongside bespoke and batch complex fabricated & machined components for clients in all industrial sectors.

The successful candidate will be a fully skilled engineer, experienced programmer, setter, and operator.

About the Role:

Programming, setting, and operating Milling machines:

  1. Program unaided from engineering drawings
  2. Carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment
  3. Cad/Cam available - fusion360, Onecnc, and shopmill
  4. Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
  5. 40 hours per week
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  2. 2, 3 axis programming
  3. Fully conversant using Siemens and Prototrak controls
  4. Be fully competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings
  5. Responsible for quality
  6. Enthusiasm to produce the best possible quality
  7. Experience working with tight tolerances and deadlines
  8. Have a flexible attitude towards working hours as overtime may be required
  9. Experience of working to own initiative
  10. Good interpersonal/communication skills
