Job description

CNC PROGRAMMER TURNER

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to work for our client who is located in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A CNC TURNER:

  1. Programming machines using Fanuc controls.
  2. Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings to manufacture precision parts.
  3. A good eye for detail and the ability to maintain a very high level of quality is essential.
  4. Whenever possible, you will be required to set and operate more than one machine.
  5. Maintain delivery of quality projects to scheduled department/delivery dates.
  6. Ensure parts are manufactured to desired tolerances as instructed.
  7. Writing and proving programs for machines as required.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience working within a precision manufacturing background.
  2. CNC Programming skills.
  3. Excellent communication skills.

THE HOURS:

You will work day shift, but later in the year it may change to rotating weekly.

Days: 6am - 2pm
Afters: 2pm - midnight

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of between £16-18 per hour depending on experience.
Monthly bonus is paid and a quarterly profit bonus.
£1500 joining fee.
