Cnc Turner Programmer Setter Operator

CNC TURNER (PROGRAMMER, SETTER, OPERATOR)

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner (Programmer, Setter, Operator) to work for our client who is located around Chesterfield, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A CNC PROGRAMMER:

1. Programming, Setting and operating Turning machines
2. Producing high precision work
3. Reading engineering drawings
4. Programming, Setting and Operating 3 sliding head lathes with Siemens 840d controls.
5. Knowledge of Fanuc controls / HAAS or Siemens is an advantage

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

1. Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
2. A background of operating CNC lathes, preferably sliding heads, is necessary.
3. Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

Working on days - 40 hours per week.

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of between £12.50- £18.15 an hour depending on experience.
