CNC Turner Programmer

Our Client is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers and international distributors of ball & roller bearings, mechanical power transmission products and motion transfer linkages.

Our Client is currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer to join their team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for Programming CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities:
– Program CNC turning machines to fabricate precision parts using FANUC Systems
– Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
– Use hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy of machined parts
– Assemble components using various techniques including welding
– Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and improve machining processes
– Utilise CAD software for programming CNC machines
– Perform tooling changes and adjustments as necessary
– Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality standards are met
– Implement logic controllers for automated machining processes
– Handle materials effectively, ensuring proper handling and storage practices

Skills:
– Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment common in CNC machining
– Experience with milling operations and assembly techniques
– Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
– Proficient in CAD software for programming CNC machines
– Knowledge of tooling procedures for CNC turning operations
– Welding skills for component assembly
– Familiarity with logic controllers for automated processes
– Competence in materials handling practices
– Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations related to machining processes
