CNC Turner (Nights)
Salary: £25.00 per hour (including 33% shift uplift on £19.00 basic)
Location: Newbury, West Berkshire
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 19:00-07:00 (Night Shift - 4 nights per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class motorsport OEM manufacturer in Newbury. With a full order book and continued investment in the latest technology, the company is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their busy night shift team.
CNC Turner Benefits:
- £25.00 per hour (inclusive of 33% night shift uplift)

CNC Turner Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC lathes (Okuma with Fanuc controls)
- Editing programs at the machine
- Machining to tight tolerances for motorsport and aerospace applications
- Performing self-inspection using verniers, micrometers, and calipers
- Supporting a clean and efficient machining cell during night operations
CNC Turner Requirements:
- Proven experience setting, operating, and editing CNC turning programs (Fanuc)
- Background in aerospace, motorsport, or precision subcontract machining
- Skilled in using self-inspection tools to verify part conformance
- Experience with Vericut (desirable but not essential)
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced night shift environment
