CNC Machinist / Supervisor

Our client, a small engineering business based in Brighouse, has an immediate requirement to recruit a well-versed CNC Machinist who can program, set, and operate CNC Lathes with FANUC and/or SIEMENS based controls.
Duties
- Responsible for programming, editing, setting, and operating CNC Turning machines.
- Ability to program FANUC and SIEMENS based programs.
- Producing finished components to quality requirements.
- Attend and complete any training courses if required.
- Experience of working with small batches and single components.
- Work to tight limits in a high precision environment.
- Workshop housekeeping.
Requirements
- Background in CNC Turning.
- Previous experience of working with FANUC or SIEMENS.
- Able to work to engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
- Able to complete tasks using own initiative.
- Willingness to comply with all HSQE requirements and procedural controls.
- Strong housekeeping and continuous improvement ethic.
- Strong team member and willing to assist wherever required.
- Skilled in manual handling.
- Honest and reliable.
This is a permanent position where you will work 08:00 - 16:50 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:15 on a Friday.
In return, you can expect an hourly rate of up to £20 per hour.
There is also the opportunity for this role to lead to a supervisory position for the right individual.
