Job description

All Square Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to join a dynamic team on their late shift.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes, specifically Citizen and Miyano machines, to produce precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, particularly Citizen and Miyano models, to produce high-precision components.
2. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
3. Conduct quality inspections using appropriate measuring tools to maintain product standards.
4. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
5. Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements for the role:

1. Proven experience as a CNC Turner, with strong programming, setting, and operating skills.
2. Proficiency in operating Citizen and Miyano CNC Multi-Axis Lathes.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Flexibility to work the late shift from 4pm to 12am.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with a variety of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, and brass.
2. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
3. Relevant engineering or manufacturing qualifications.
