CNC Turner - Liss / Petersfield area - £38,000 - £45,000

We are recruiting for a CNC Turner to join a small, friendly company based on the outskirts of Petersfield in the Liss area working for an extremely interesting and specialist automotive company. If you have a passion for cars, especially high end vehicles, this company would definitely interest you.

Responsibilities

The role of CNC Turner will have the following responsibilities:

1. Operate a Haas CNC 4-axis turning centre producing automotive components.
2. Set existing programs.
3. Create and validate new programs using a combination of offline and online programming.
4. Work cross-functionally with the engineering manager and other production team members to optimise the manufacture of complex parts.
5. Support the inspection function of the business.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of CNC Turner you will ideally have the following:

1. Experience with CAM / CAD software (CAMWorks, SolidWorks, etc.)
2. A background with HAAS or Fanuc would also be ideal.
3. Problem solving experience.
4. Confident working within a small team.

Package

The successful candidate for the role of CNC Turner will receive the following:

1. Salary £38,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience.
2. Summer shutdown.
3. Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm.
4. Early finish on a Friday 1pm.
5. Overtime opportunities.

The role of CNC Turner is commutable from Portsmouth, Petersfield, Liphook, Liss, Chichester and surrounding areas.
