Job description

Job Title: CNC Turner

Location: Leicestershire, LE10

Shift: Monday - Thursday, rotating

Salary: £39,400 per annum

Benefits: Permanent position + On-site parking + Free Parking

The Company:

A well-established and growing precision engineering group and global manufacturer operating in a variety of Complex Markets including but not limited to the Aerospace, Defence, Automotive and Medical industries.

The Candidate:

  1. The ideal candidate for the CNC Turner Setter/Operator will have experience setting and/or operating CNC turning machines (experience with Fanuc, Heidenheim, Mazatrol preferable).
  2. Able to read from engineering drawings.
  3. Competent in quality checking work using equipment such as verniers, calipers and micrometres.
  4. Must be a team player.
  5. Apprentice trained or at least 5 years' experience.

The CNC Turner Setter/Operator Role:

  1. Setting and operating CNC Turning machines.
  2. Flexibility required in relation to operating more than one machine.
  3. Work to achieve set production times and targets.
