We are looking for experienced CNC machine setter/operators who can commit to a rotating shift within a busy aerospace company in Wigston and are open to being trained on new machines.

This is a role working a 3 shift rotation: day, late, AND night shift.

What you will be doing

1. Setting up high-speed production machinery using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers or verniers, while working with both quality & production targets.
2. Loading and unloading machinery, following written instructions & engineering drawings.

Shift rotation

• Days - Monday to Thursday 05:45 - 13:45, Friday 05:45 - 10:45
• Afternoon - Monday to Thursday 13:45 - 21:45, Friday 10:45 - 15:45
• Nights - Monday to Thursday 21:45 - 05:45, Friday 15:45 - 20:45

Your initial training is on fixed days (average 2 - 4 weeks), then you will move to the rotating shift pattern. While training, you will be paid £14.71, and once on the rotating pattern, your pay will increase to £17.80.

To be considered - you MUST have some CNC setting/operating experience, be able to use precision measuring instruments, and be flexible enough to work the shift pattern without issue.
