CNC Field Service Engineer - Machine Tools

UK Wide Travel & Nights Away

Location - Anywhere

Up To 39,000 - 43,000 Basic Salary + Door To Door Overtime (OTE - 50,000)

We are looking for a motivated Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer to join a service team within the CNC industry. Reporting directly to the service manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the companies clients are provided with the top service experience. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. You will be responsible for installations, service, repairs, and breakdowns of equipment on customers' sites across the UK. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role on the road within a secure and stable company.

Role Description
  1. Responding to service calls on a UK basis
  2. Breakdown/Repair/Installation of CNC machinery (Machine Tools)
  3. Offering advice and technical support to customers
  4. Fault Finding both Electrically & Mechanically
  5. Reporting directly to the service manager
Skills and Qualifications
  1. Service Experience
  2. Knowledge of 3 and 5 Axis Machinery
  3. Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications
  4. Fault Finding ability both Electrical and Mechanical
  5. PLC Experience (Desirable)
  6. Knowledge of Siemens & Heidenhein Control Systems
