Job description

CNC Service Engineer / Fitter
A role has arisen for an experienced CNC Service Engineer or CNC Maintenance Engineer, particularly if you want to stop travelling as all the work is within the factory and showroom.
We are looking for a CNC Engineer to conduct pre-delivery inspection of new CNC machines before being shipped to the customer.

The Role
  • Install CNC machines in factory and showroom
  • Carry out test procedures and document findings
  • Write SOPs
  • Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm
    Friday 8:30am – 3:00pm
Requirements
  • Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship
  • Strong knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain
  • You will likely have been a CNC service engineer or CNC maintenance engineer working on lathes and machining centres
  • Able to read drawings; electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic
  • Fault finding in control, electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Mechanical and electrical fitting skills
