Job Role: CNC Day Shift Foreman - CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

Location or Commutable from: Rugby, Coventry, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire

Shift: Days Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Pay Rate / Salary: £19.50 per hour

My customer, a leading precision engineering company based in Rugby delivering breakdown services to the CNC industry, is looking to expand their team and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dayshift Foreman with exceptional CNC Milling and programming skills. The Candidate

  • Must be able to programme using FUSION 360 (preferred)
  • Must have experience with Siemens controls
  • Be able to read technical drawings
  • Have experience with both CNC and manual machines

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement CNC Milling programming related strategies to achieve business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success
  • Lead a team of machinists in our precision breakdown machine shop
  • Oversee the daily operations of CNC Milling Centres, manual lathes, and mills, ensuring high levels of productivity, quality, and safety
  • Have a solid background in both CNC programming and manual machining
  • Supervise the setup, operation, and maintenance of Siemens CNC Milling Centres, manual lathes, milling machines, and other precision machinery
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling Centres using Siemens controls
  • Program and modify CNC programs using offline programming tools such as Fusion 360 (preferred)
