3+ years experience in CNC programming and machining is essential.
Proficiency with Fanuc, HAAS, and Heidenheim controls is required.

Program and operate CNC machines including turning and milling.
Maintain production paperwork and perform preventative maintenance.

What our Client is offering the successful CNC Programmer/Setter:

Up to £16.68 per hour
Monday - Thursday 7am - 6pm, Friday 7am - 2pm
Permanent role

The Role - CNC Programmer/Setter:

Programming and operating CNC machines
Working with CNC turning & milling machines
Working with 3-axis or 5-axis CNC machines
Working on Fanuc, HAAS and Heidenheim controls
Maintain all production paperwork
Ensure daily preventative maintenance procedures are maintained
Maintain gauging and measuring equipment

What we are looking for in a CNC Programmer/Setter:

Previous experience working in a similar role ESSENTIAL
NVQ level 3 qualifications in CNC machining or equivalent BENEFICIAL
Experience of working in an engineering machining environment for a minimum of 3 years ESSENTIAL
Experience of programming Fanuc / HAAS / Heidenheim controls ESSENTIAL
Experience working with 4th / 5th axis BENEFICIAL
Experience of working with a variety of material types ESSENTIAL
