Overview
A position has opened for a CNC Programmer/Setter to join our production team in Margate, Kent.
General Duties/Responsibilities:
- Implement tool set ups and validate CNC process via to handover to operators.
- Identify suitable tooling and fixturing ensuring documentation is maintained.
- Validate and edit CNC programmes via interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Measure and validate components through use of first principle measuring equipment.
- Deliver training on tool setting and CNC operation to production workforce.
- Identify potential non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
- Assist in fault finding through communication with supporting departments.
- Working experience in the manufacturing industry with a bias towards machining operations.
- Proven experience in CNC Turning and Milling operations.
- Experience: Preferably 5+ years in an Engineering/manufacturing environment.
