Full time (Monday to Thursday) ** 4 DAY WEEK **

Salary £37,000 to £40,000

Our client has a vacancy for a CNC programmer/operator to work with the production of various stone products such as worktops, vanity units and bespoke items made from stone.

Duties

1. As CNC programmer/operator you will be responsible for cutting and polishing stone slabs for kitchen worktops, vanity tops and other bespoke projects.
2. Dealing with the raw material from the beginning to the final phase.
3. Inputting programs to machines cutting shapes to required CAD drawings.
4. Creating bespoke products for clients.
5. Training colleagues on operation of CNC machines and programming.

Qualities and experience

1. Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
2. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
3. Experience using stone-cutting machinery and hand tools.
4. Experience as a CNC Machine Programmer/Operator.
5. Mechanical knowledge.
6. Fabrication experience.
7. Ability to work with hand tools.
8. Materials handling skills.
9. Tooling knowledge.
