CNC Programmer Miller / Turner

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum - Dependent on experience
Type: Permanent
Location: Northampton
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm, Friday 7.30am-12.30pm

Our client based on the outskirts of Northampton is a specialist engineering and production company with a worldwide reputation in their field of expertise. They are now looking to recruit a CNC Programmer Miller / Turner to work in their machine shop making precision parts.

Duties:

1. Making one-offs and small batches of complex precision machined components from various aerospace grade materials.
2. Accurately inspecting and measuring components using various inspection equipment including, but not limited to, Micrometers, Verniers, and Plug Gauges.
3. Setting and Operating Manual/CNC Mills and Lathes using Fanuc controls.
4. Writing CNC programs using AlphaCam and/or CAD/CAM post processors.

Requirements:

1. A longstanding work history within a precision machining environment.
2. Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and engineering drawings.
3. Ability to produce complex components to drawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately.
4. Adherence to quality standards.
5. Possessing an enthusiastic can-do attitude with an eye for detail.
