CNC Programmer and Operator-Nightshift

Key Responsibilities:

1. Independently Programme & Operate CNC Hurco Mills:
2. Utilize your expertise to programme and operate 3-axis VM20i & 5-axis VMX30Ui CNC Hurco Mills with precision and efficiency.
3. Employ Conventional Programming in WinMax, utilizing DXF files to execute complex machining tasks seamlessly.
4. NC Programming & Fusion 360:
5. Develop and execute NC programming using Fusion 360 to meet high-quality standards and specifications.
6. Machining Expertise:
7. Demonstrate your extensive experience machining materials such as aluminium and plastics, including handling free-issue parts with meticulous attention to detail.
8. Tool Management:
9. Effectively manage tools and setups, ensuring optimal performance and tool longevity throughout the machining process.
10. Technical Proficiency:
11. Leverage your ability to read and interpret technical drawings, translating them into high-precision machined components.
12. Organisational Skills:
13. Exhibit strong organisational skills to manage workload efficiently and maintain a well-structured work environment.
14. Engineering Hygiene:
15. Maintain a keen eye for detail and uphold rigorous engineering hygiene standards to ensure flawless execution of machining tasks.
16. Reliability & Punctuality:
17. Demonstrate unwavering reliability and punctuality, contributing positively to the production team’s success.

Requirements:

1. Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC Milling of aluminium parts is essential.
2. Skills: Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and senior management.
3. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 22:00 – 06:30
Friday: 17:30 – 23:30

Benefits:

• Competitive salary of £38,000+ (based on experience)
• Holiday: 25 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday
