CNC Programmer

Location: Worcester

My client is a specialist manufacturer of products used in the aerospace and turbine industry sectors, and they are seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Programmer, you will create CNC programs for multi-axis CNC machinery, working to tight tolerances and ensuring that the parts produced meet client expectations.

CNC Programmer Responsibilities:

Set and program 5-axis CNC machinery
Generate CNC programs using Hypermill CAM software
Work to tight tolerances and use precision measurement devices
Ensure that the products meet the exact design specifications
Provide technical support to CNC operators

CNC Programmer Experience:

Previous experience in programming multi-axis CNC machinery
Experience working to tight tolerances
Heidenhain, Mazatrol, and Hypermill experience is desirable
Able to interpret engineering drawings and create CNC programs
Excellent communication skills are essential
