Job Title: CNC Programmer - CNC Lathes (Fanuc Controls)

Location: Aldridge, Walsall

Pay Rates: £17 - £19 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday-Thursday 07:00am to 16:00pm & Friday 07:00am to 11:00am

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established engineering business, programming CNC lathes using Fanuc controls. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled and dedicated team in a supportive environment with excellent working hours.

Responsibilities:
  1. Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
  2. Interpreting technical drawings and engineering blueprints to create accurate CNC programs.
  3. Selecting appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds to optimise production efficiency.
  4. Conducting quality checks and first-off inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
  5. Troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments to programs and machines.
  6. Collaborating with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
Qualification/Experience:
  1. Proven experience programming CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
  2. Strong knowledge of turning processes and tooling.
  3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  5. Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  6. Flexibility and a proactive approach to work.
