Production Supervisor

Our Bournemouth based engineering client is looking for a well-versed team leader who can work in a manufacturing and engineering environment with confidence and ease. Responsibilities as Production Supervisor

1. As part of an established manufacturing team, you will support and mentor a team of multi-skilled engineers.
2. Impart continuous improvement throughout the team, supporting lean initiatives.
3. Implement process and procedure, ensuring that all guidelines and standards are being adhered to.
4. When required, be able to train and develop the team, motivating and encouraging collaboration.
5. Work with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication across departments.
6. Able to be hands-on with the CNC Machines when required to support your team, advising and supporting operators.

Skills and Qualifications as Production Supervisor

1. Experienced CNC Machining background.
2. A clear understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes and a solid work history within that environment.
3. Ideally a degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering.
4. Be a clear communicator, both verbal and written.
5. Demonstrate tenacity and drive, able to use own initiative.
