Job description

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Production Operative on behalf of our client based in Braintree, on a temp to perm basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to cut materials. The role is based on-site, working standard day hours within a friendly and supportive team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Operate CNC machinery with precision and accuracy.
2. Interpret technical drawings or specifications for programming requirements.
3. Carry out machine setup, maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting.
4. Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
5. Support general production tasks as required.

Experience, Education & Qualifications:

1. Previous CNC Machine experience essential.
2. Some programming knowledge is highly desirable.
3. Familiarity with milling CNC systems is beneficial.
4. Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
5. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Benefits:

1. Pay rate: £12.21 - £13.00 per hour, depending on experience.
2. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hours per week).
