CNC Operator

A growing business that is recognised as a world leader in its field of precision automation components is looking for a CNC Operator to join its team in Hertford. You will be working 39 hours per week, daytime only Monday - Thursday, 07:45-16:45 and Friday, 07:45-12:45. The business has nearly 60 years of innovation and is backed by extensive application experience, utilising the most advanced materials.

As CNC Operator, you will:

1. Set and operate CNC Fanuc Machines.
2. Inspect your own work.
3. Ensure quality of work is accurate, thorough and neat.
4. Produce a significant volume of work efficiently in a specified period of time.
5. Demonstrate appropriate judgment and decision-making skills when necessary.

We are looking for a CNC Operator who has the following skills and experiences:

1. Previous experience in a CNC Turner / Operator role.
2. Experience with cutting in metal.
3. Turning experience.
4. Self-disciplined with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
5. Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.

In return, you will receive a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
