My client, an engineering company based in Worcester (WR4) is looking to recruit a CNC Miller/Turner on a long-term temp contract to cover maternity leave, between 9 and 12 months. (There is a good chance this position could become permanent as the business continues to grow.)
The main requirements for the role include:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner/Miller
- Flexible and adaptable to be able to complete all tasks with accuracy, and within fine tolerances
- Proactive nature and keen to work within a small business and take responsibility for the role
- Experience with a DMG 5 AXIS CNC Mill and a 2 axis lathe ideally
- Experience of using Siemens 840D Controllers or similar
- Experience of precision components is highly desirable
This role is Mon-Fri and the pay rate will be based on a salary of up to £36,000.
