CNC Miller Setter/Operator

We are working with a well-developed company that has a focused manufacturing capability based on CNC technology. In addition to traditional standalone machining centres, they have 6 sliding head CNC lathes that allow complete production of finished components from raw bar material. We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join them in their facility in Rotherham.

Key skills required of the CNC Miller Setter/Operator:

1. The CNC Miller must have over 6 years working experience as a CNC Miller.
2. Experience as a Setter mainly is required and some Operating.
3. Must have hands-on Programming experience or be an excellent Setter Operator.
4. Ability to write programs from drawings - at a high level of competence.
5. Must have experience of Fanuc controls.
6. This role will be suited to a CNC Miller with a medium to high volume engineering background.
7. Experience of cutting a variety of materials - from basic carbon plate, Nicol, duplex, etc.
8. We will consider someone who has moved up the ranks.

In return, my client is offering an excellent hourly rate inclusive of shift allowance and a bonus scheme of 6% of the basic rate upon successful completion of the agreed probationary period.

Shifts:
Shift 1: #removed#:00 Monday - Thursday, #removed#:00 Friday
Shift 2: 14:30pm - 23:00 Mon - Thursday, 13:00 - 20:30 Friday

Overtime is paid at 1.5 x total rate (on both basic + bonus).
