Salary: £18.50 DOE Annual salary up to £36,556
Overtime: Available x 1.5
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8am till 4:30pm - Friday 8am till 2:30pm
You also have the option to start at 7am and finish an hour earlier.

Job Description

The role of CNC Miller, programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:

1. Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Heidenhain control.
2. Program jobs with 4th Axis.
3. Load machine with Vices / Fixture.
4. Load the tooling with correct offsets.
5. Upload programs.
6. Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

1. Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Milling machines using Heidenhein controls.
2. Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
3. Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship; however, experience is the overriding factor.
4. Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
5. Produce high-quality work to fine tolerances.
6. Have a professional and self-motivated attitude.
7. Possess good organisational & time management skills.
