Job Role:

Optima is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our Precision Manufacturing client based in Portsmouth. The CNC Machinist/Programmer will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine, as well as maintaining equipment and supplies.

Candidate's Checklist:

1. Experience in 5-axis or 3-axis machining
2. Experience with Heidenhain
3. Self-motivated and driven
4. High attention to detail
5. Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
6. Good communication skills are essential
