Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming, setting, and operating skills using Mill Plus with G codes, as well as experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls. This role will involve working on 3 and 5 axis milling machines, including the DMG - DMU 80 FD 5 axis machining centre.

Responsibilities

1. Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
2. Utilizing Mill Plus with G codes and software similar to Fanuc controls
3. Working on 3 and 5 axis milling machines, including the DMG - DMU 80 FD 5 axis machining centre
4. Ensuring quality and accuracy of milled parts
5. Adhering to safety and quality standards

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
2. Proficiency with Mill Plus, G codes, and software similar to Fanuc controls
3. Experience with 3 and 5 axis milling machines, particularly the DMG - DMU 80 FD
4. Knowledge of table speeds and capacity considerations
5. Strong attention to detail and quality focus
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Day-to-day

1. Programming and setting up the CNC milling machine for production runs
2. Operating and monitoring the milling machine to produce parts to specifications
3. Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy
4. Collaborating with team members to optimize production processes
