CNC Miller - Precision Engineering

Location: Leeds

Salary: £30,500

Hours: 37 per week, day shift

A well-established precision engineering company in Leeds is looking to recruit a skilled CNC Miller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, well-equipped workshop where you'll be machining complex components using high-spec materials and cutting-edge CNC technology.

The Role:

  1. Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components
  2. Optimise machining processes using Fanuc controls
  3. Work with challenging materials, including Inconel
  4. Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
  5. Liaise with the quality team to ensure parts meet strict specifications

What We're Looking For:

  1. Proven experience as a CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment
  2. Confident using Fanuc or Haas controls, with knowledge of G & M code
  3. Comfortable working with exotic or high-performance materials (Inconel experience ideal)
  4. Strong attention to detail and a team-focused approach
