With state-of-the-art skills in materials technology, particularly relating to elastomers, polymers, composites and engineering plastics plus extensive expertise in precision machining of exotic alloys for metallic seals, and tension control fasteners for bolted joints.

Your Role
As a CNC Machinist, you'll harness cutting-edge technology to transform raw materials into intricate, high-performance parts used for aerospace, oil & gas, marine and renewable energy industries. You'll be more than just a technician; you're a problem solver, a creative thinker and bringing blueprints to life.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accurately creating programmes when required;
2. Undertake any off-set or programme changes as required, to ensure component compliance;
3. Ensure machine routings and processes are running at optimum efficiencies;
4. Ensure all components in production are accompanied by the appropriate documentation and ensuring this documentation is kept up to date;
5. Liaise with Team Leader and or MSS to ensure work is completed on time, highlighting any issues that may arise at the earliest opportunity;
6. Ensure the work area is kept tidy and organised and general housekeeping maintained to comply with the company's Health & Safety policies;
7. Ensure accurate daily recording of labour hours through Internal Operating Bookings System & other appropriate documentation;
8. Support, train and advise other employees when required to ensure all operations are carried out efficiently and accurately to customer specifications;
9. Any other duties the company requires to be carried out.

Experience

1. Time Served (or similar experience);
2. Must have a good understanding of engineering drawings and ability to work to tight tolerances;
3. Setting and operating CNC Milling machines. HAAS Experience preferred not essential;
4. Dexterity and mechanical aptitude;
5. Be able to demonstrate knowledge of imperial and metric measurements;
6. Be able to use and identify measuring equipment to verify your own product before submitting to quality control;
7. Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and be detail oriented, flexible and self-motivated.
