Contek Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a reputable precision engineering company, located in Tamworth, West Midlands. Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking for a skilled CNC Mill/Turn Machinist to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

PAY:

£19 - £21 per hour (Depending on experience)

WORKING HOURS:

Monday to Thursday (07:15am until 16:15 PM) and Friday (07:15 am until 12:15 PM) - Flexible for the right person.

OVERTIME:

Overtime is available consistently and is paid at time-and-a-half.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Working on a Hermle C50 U Mill/Turn 5-axis machine.
2. Programming using Siemens 840D & Siemens NX CAD/CAM software.
3. Producing parts and components for the Defence, Aerospace, and Nuclear industries.
4. Producing new workholding solutions.
5. Meeting work deadlines and following 5S standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Previous experience within 5-axis CNC Mill/Turn machining is required.
2. Previous experience using Siemens 840D is required.
3. Previous experience using Siemens NX or a similar CAD/CAM system is required.
4. A committed and driven approach to work.
