The Role - CNC/Manual Grinder

My client, a leading manufacturer specialising in the aerospace and defence industry, is currently seeking a talented CNC / Manual Grinder to join their team.

As a Grinder, you'll be responsible for operating and setting manual Studer machines and CNC machines to produce parts to extremely high tolerance.

You'll be joining a great team within a vibrant employment sector.

Key Responsibilities - CNC/Manual Grinder

1. Operate and set Manual Studer machines and CNC machines.
2. Grind and machine exotic and hardened materials with precision.
3. Perform first-off inspections and complete relevant quality documentation.
4. Carry out manual land grinding to extremely tight tolerances.
5. Set up and run multiple machines and processes.
6. Using the relevant inspection techniques/equipment to achieve drawing tolerance.
7. Go through self-certification to qualify as quality stamp holder.

Qualifications & Requirements - CNC/Manual Grinder

1. A recognised engineering apprenticeship.
2. Manual grinding experience required.
3. Good knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy and process improvement.
