CNC Maintenance Engineer

Join us on this mission as CNC Maintenance Engineer with a global leader in the Aviation & Aerospace sector.

The purpose of the role is to carry out maintenance and repair of all CNC machines and equipment within the Machine Shop so that down time is minimised, and productions targets met.

Responsibilities

1. Follow Total Preventative Maintenance schedule for machines and equipment.
2. Replacement of worn parts and wiring in accordance with machine manuals and specifications.
3. Repair machines and equipment as needed, bringing in external suppliers as required.
4. Transport materials and finished parts and components to the required locations using the forklift truck and lifting equipment.

Characteristics & Skills

1. Certified IEE 18 Edition Wiring Regulations
2. Forklift Licence
3. Use of hand tools and testers
4. Experience of working within manufacturing and with CNC machine tools, typically 5 & 4 axis machining centres and CNC turning machines.
5. Grade Pass in GCSE Maths/English (or equivalent)
6. Manual dexterity
