Job description

CNC Machinist – Aberdeenshire

Our client, a well-established engineering company based in Aberdeenshire is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team on a Temporary basis. (There is potential for the right candidate for this to become permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate various CNC machines (including Lynx, DNM, and Puma models)

  • Create and modify CNC programs

  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using appropriate measuring tools

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings with accuracy

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in CNC machining

  • Confident in setting and operating both CNC mills and lathes

  • Strong self-inspection skills

  • Experience working with various materials, including aluminium, steel, stainless steel, and super alloys

  • Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings
