Job description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a thriving engineering firm in Thetford, Norfolk, as it continues to grow rapidly. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic company expanding to meet increasing demand for its services.

Anyone with Mazatrol, Mazak or Fanuc experience would be considered for this position; however, training will also be provided on other programmes if you are competent in one of these.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in CNC Milling or Turning, but if you demonstrate the right attitude and eagerness to learn, there will be opportunities for additional training and skill development.

CNC Machinist Duties:

1. Setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes to produce precision components
2. Performing basic maintenance on machinery and promptly reporting any faults to supervisors
3. Working with Mazatrol, Mazak or Fanuc programmes
4. Assisting with additional fabrication tasks as needed, including the use of hand and power tools
5. Operating manual machines when required to support production demands

Hours & Pay:

08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 15:30 on Friday

Salary rivals some of the best rates in the area but is dependent on the experience of the candidate.

This is a full-time permanent position for the right candidate.
