Experience in CNC machining with a focus on lathes and mills.

Our client is the industry leader in the design and manufacture of magnetically shielded products and rooms. Currently operating in their new factory unit, this period of expansion is a very exciting time for the company, and we are looking to speak to applicants interested in joining their team as an experienced CNC Machinist.

Key Tasks/Duties of this role:

The candidate will work within our tool-room department operating our CNC controlled lathes & 2 mills to generate components required for tooling or directly by our customers.
You will also, in collaboration with our design department, aid in the design of any fixturing or jigs that may be required to allow machining of the components.
Working on a variety of Mills and Lathes:

XYZ Mills & Lathes – ProtoTrak controls
Fanuc on Star lathes
Hurco mill
Dugard mill – Heidenhain
